Hi, I’m C. I go by “align” because it’s one of my favorite words, meaning and sound. I started this tumblr in 2008 to collect things that I enjoy - a sort of online scrapbook, if you will. What I enjoy has shifted a bit during this time, and still goes through phases, usually directly influenced by whatever is going on in my life.

Speaking of which, you won’t learn much about me here other than my likes, and I don’t interact much with other tumblrs. It’s not that I don’t like you - many of you are very interesting! So you won’t find any formspring posts or whatever here. I do get a little more personal over at cassymakesart, where I post stuff that I’m working on and the occasional little unrelated tidbit. But if that’s not enough, the most important thing to know about me is: I’m trying very hard to be happy.

And here? Well, I like: Oceans, art, words that are put together well, bold artistic statements, studio spaces, flora, fauna, deceased creatures, anatomy, soft and/or interesting photos, design (especially if it involves good typography), and anything that feels like a punch to the stomach.
